Responsibilities
  • Work with executive management to make decisions for operational effectiveness
  • Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of the business to ensure smooth progress
  • Direct staff from multi-disciplinary teams and provide guidance, coaching and direction to ensure optimum performance
  • Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business process and procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements
  • Oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Ensure that all critical aspects of business operations are accounted for and operating at peak performance
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Proven experience as Director of Operations or equivalent position, in a small to medium-sized organization
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
  • Outstanding people skills
  • In-depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g. finance, customer service, HR, product development, sales & marketing)
  • BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field; MSc/MA will be a plus
