Overview
Science Partner

Description

Sub-Seasonal to Seasonal (S2S) forecasts allow for delivery of key weather and climate characteristics such as the timing and onset of precipitation, heat waves, evaporative demand, and fire danger.  S2S forecasts are generated daily for weekly and monthly intervals.

Multiple S2S forecast variables relevant to fire and drought are available, including solar radiation, air temperature, humidity, wind speed, evaporative demand, dead fuel moisture, burn index, and energy release component.
